what if you play a player at two positions? does it matter what they are classified as? i.e. if I played Jason Collier at C most of the game but a little at PF. He is classified as a PF. Can you explain exactly what changing their position does? Thanks.

Changing their position just makes your roster look better, basically. You can play anyone at any position, but obviously it could effect them. So their ratings could change when you change positions.
