The Brown Pelican takes what he wants. In fact, you cannot even use the word "Honey" in referring to a Brown Pelican!
Scott at Guru Design who made a nice Pelican logo did a black, gold and red rendering as well.

Not a huge Pelicans fan, but that red logo is pretty badass. Oh crap,,,, the pelican force is engaging upon me.
I don't care for the color schemes. That shade of red is not attractive.

Talk to Mrs. Benson. For those that haven't seen it, the artist originally used a Mardi Gras color scheme that I liked better although I think it needs to be tweaked some because it looks too LSU to me.

I dont expect it to be Christian. But I do expect it to not have a bad color scheme like the red one from above. The LSU color scheme would be a much better look.

I just hope they dont go with black, gold and red as their color scheme. If they aren't going to keep the color scheme, I do like the Mardi Gras color scheme that they wear as an alternate jersey.
