I'm just so sick of using Cox. My speed is regularly slowing to a crawl for no apparent reason. I have to call them every few months to have them reset the connection for some reason. It's not the router. A, it's new. B, when i plug in the problems don't stop. Overall my experience with cox internet in the last 7 years has been atrocious. I'm ready for a switch.
Does anyone have an alternative that they'd recommend? I'm paying 60 a month currently and I'd like to pay less if at all possible.

Cox's service sucks unless your neighborhood has the latest wiring and on-the-pole equipment upgrades
I left Cox 10 or 11 years ago because of service problems that existed in their infrastructure that they could not fix and made me take time off of work repeatedly despite knowing the problem was with their equipment, not anything in my house.
I switched to ATT, but their dsl service has been deteriorating lately in my neighborhood - my download speeds are nowhere near what they advertise.
Sucks that there aren't any additional options - sure you can say u-verse, but it's still ATT, although it's a different infrastructure.
Yeah, I'm not looking forward to that when I move back in two weeks. We've had AT&T up here in Indianapolis, and it's terrible. We need to have it repaired at least twice a month.
But I really don't want Cox's slow internet either. I guess I could go without TV/internet, but that's just crazy talk.
