I don't think we can start at midnight. Usually he will give a set time. That's how it was last year. He gave us a set time for the first come, first serve part of FA. It was like 7pm or 8pm. I think tomorrow we post our first depth charts as well.

All I have read is that FA will begin on October 2. No time was mentioned. So unless CP3 says a time today I don't think I would take my chances on waiting unless you want to pick from the leftovers.

Yeah, but also I think he was just throwing dates out there at the time. He's pretty good at setting a start time for things like that. And unless he specifies otherwise (and so we don't spam the world with threads... and share with others who we're drafting) it may be better to wait until we get the final OK from him.

2k13 is going to be great. How many people in our league are getting it and play on PS3? If we have a good number of people we should start up a online association for this year. I read that they give the commish of the league alot more control over how to setup the league. I know you can do a flex schedule this year so that you dont have to wait till certain weeks to play games. We could have a Thread on here where we can discuss the league, games, trades, etc when not on PS3. Anybody interested in doing this?

I hear ya. CP3 is good about giving us a time when something starts but if I was targeting some FA's and he didn't post an official FA start time by midnight tonight, I'd be trying to sign my guys. I wouldn't want to take the chance of waiting to see if he posts a start time tomorrow. That's just me tho. I can see some GM's raging over not signing guys bc they were waiting for him to post an official time to start.

Cool. I'll give it about a week for people to get the game, play it some, etc and I'll start a thread and start getting people's PSN names and adding them on my list. We can discuss what settings we think would work best, fantasy draft or regular rosters, who gets what team and what not. I also like to play somewhat "sim" style so if we have any problems with people in the league that like to "cheese" they will quickly be dropped. We can discuss all that once we start a thread tho.
