Honestly, you can realistically sign two of those guys. They will command around 10 million each and you will need cap room for draft pick and solid role players.

i'd have been pretty upset if you screwed two guys out of top 3 picks. People really need to be more careful with there pick trading, even to a lesser extent I regret trading for Snow. Don't trade an unprotected first when your team sucks

That should be in the sim bible, but it's nothing new. We've all warned people about doing it and yet you see bottom tier teams doing it still. I'm nervous for a few teams and how they've been run up to this point and if they will be able to recover.

We need some more basketball talk on this thread. What do you guys think about the offseason? When's the next First Take? Who's the winners and losers in FA? Which teams are favorite to make the playoffs and contend for title? Season starts in 4 days.

Next first take will probably be Friday.
Not taking a shot at the Warriors, but I think they lost by handing out those very outlandish contracts, but we will see. Could be like Ron Mercer who one year was averging like 5 ppg then 15.

The funny thing about the Knicks-Jazz trade was the Knicks ended up re-signing KVH. They've been trying to acquire a bunch of high 1st round picks. Teams should be very careful.

I don't know right now. I have a chance. Teams like the Lakers, Grizzlies, and Sonics are better for sure. Maybe the TWolves as well. I think after that it will be a toss-up. I could finish anywhere from 5th to out of the playoffs. Defense is a concern, so I'm hoping I can outscore teams and have my bench dominate. Mighty Mouse will have to play at an All-Star level. Gameplan/Depth Chart will be important. I figured it out too late last season, but I know what I'm going to do right now.
