A deadline would be nice. I'm on vacation and am only able to get online a few minutes late at night.

Why shouldn't we be able to edit offers?? That would mean that anyone could just pick off who you are trying to sign

I agree with Loco. Offers should be edited. Its standard for negotiating.

so everyone will put in their best offer if they really like the player. if you get cheap on a player you like, you take the risk of someone outbidding you

I do however think if you edit you should edit the original post to say "Look below for edited offer" or something and post a new reply instead of just changing the numbers

You're supposed to give the starting year, and then give the % of the increase. Not sure if everyone understands that though.

It's that long because I'll be gone from the 27th through the 1st.

And you can edit if you want, but you have to do it in a new post, or quote your old post with the edit in that. If you don't I won't see it.

Agree wit Loco, we should eable to edit our offer by replying in that thread. Some guys wouldn't look at the edit number, so it should just be replied.

Also how do the FAs decide, do they somehow consider what team is offering or is it just whoever bids the most?
