So if we want to use our points for a claim this off-season when should we do that?

"I want ONLY 9 eyebrows in the starting lineup for the Hornets next year." I typed this before the draft lottery

I played Amaechi at center and Patterson at power forward, Pollard is a fringe starter in actuality, he's better than a descent number of starting centers due to rebounding and defense. I think you'll be fine with Francis, Amaechi and Jefferson or Smith/Terry as your scoring options, I was a playoff team last year before the Allen trade with Shareef, Amaechi, and a mix of Patterson and Miller as my third option. I would say Amaechi is a solid two, great 3 as a scoring option.
If I were to re-do it post allen trade I would have put Amaechi at the 4 and Pollard at the 5 because my defense was lacking and I had plenty of scoring.
It all depends, I you feel you need more scoring play Amaechi at center, if you feel you need more defense put him at powerforward. Due to your scoring ability at the 1,2, and 3 I'd play him at powerforward if I were you, but that's just me because I'm a defensive minded guy now.
Hope this helps.

I know this has been asked before, but does the 60-day rule also apply to free agents?

Well I have 5 small forwards lol Sean Elliot, Tyrone Corbin, Rueben Patterson, Walt Williams, and Richard Jefferson. Geesh.
Looking at my team Barkley's defense and ball handling decreased, Michael Dickerson decreased in every grade except inside scoring, Croshere's inside scoring decreased, Matt Harpring went from garbage to hot garbage.
My team got better overall, even Charles Oakley and Steve Smith.
My team should be good defensively, but I'd be surprised if they average 85 a game.

I'm guessing there are a lot more factors to training camp. Maybe it's mostly random? I mean, I had a guy with A potential get better but drop to B potential. Stockton is 39 and didn't get any worse for me. Gasol had A potential and got better, most of my C potential players stayed the same or got better.
Odom had b potential but dropped. Marbury worse, Hill worse, bo outlaw worse. Not one improvement. CONSPIRACY!![]()
