Man I hope you don't, but that's gonna be a defining game I think. My team needs to step up against yours.

Commish said that it can go on as long as we like. I'm sure there will be generated players once we get past current year.
2004-2005 Sim League World Champion Los Angeles Lakers
I'm about to do the sim now, been watching football

Yea, I remember when we were first doing it, I searched the games forums just to look at some other leagues and there were some that ran for like 10-15+ seasons. I think that there was one that was in the 40s or 50s, it just really however long we are willing to run with it

Wait, I thought after this we was going to start ALL over from ever further back? Thats what I think would be funner but dont want to throw alot of work on amyone. Also what about the college one I was reading about.
I have a ton of points to claim, just need to get past the gray box
i think the claims should be a little easier. maybe 15 RBS, 13 ASTS, 5 BLKS, 5 STLS for next season.

HR Sim League
PG: Bibby
SG: Posey | Hardaway | Hassell
SF: Marion
PF: Bosh
C: Biedrins | Lang | Geiger
also have 2 lottery picks (NYK & DET) and hardaway for trading in the draft to whoever is interested
I agree with busta that points again are an issue that need to be addressed. With the threshold to buy training camps set at 50 points, most teams without Eddy Curry, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Chris Webber, Shaq (just to name a few) aren't hemmorhaging points. (I'm lucky if I get 1 point a sim.) Where as superstars give more and more points to teams that already have butt-loads. Rich getting richer.
Lower claims or lower point purchase could help teams that don't have players that put up sometimes 10 points a sim.
17 rbs, 13 ast, 6 blocks, 5 steals
blocks are easier to get than steals IMHO, the league leader in blocks averages 3.7, while the leader in steals only averages 2.6
HR Sim League - Washington Wizards
Season 1 - Eastern Conference Finals
Season 2 - NBA Champions
Season 3 - 1st Round
Season 4 - Eastern Conference Semifinals
Season 5 - Eastern Conference Semifinals
There's like 4 teams that rack up points. Everyone else it'd take around 2 years to do one upgrade.
I didn't care when I had Shaq, but all of a sudden I don't like the point system heavily favoring future hall of famers.
Jason Richardson, Matt Barnes, 2005 1st Round pick on the table as a package deal possibly Brendan Haywood as well. I would need to receive to 2004 1st rounder to make it work. PM accordingly!

PR Sim League (2005-06 Season)
Nazr Mohammed - Jermaine O'Neal - Ron Artest - Shane Battier - Baron Davis
Greg Ostertag - Samuel Dalembert -Matt Bonner - Ryan Gomes- Matt Freije - Donnell Harvey - Matt Carroll - Eddie House
Rich get richer. I mean, for example (sorry to throw you out there commish), but Garnett got like 60-65 points alone this season. meanwhile I'm happy I got like 17 points for my whole team.
The point system is difficult, if you lower it KG, Shaq, Duncan, Webber etc... will rack up even more points. But you should have to accomplish something to receive points, I don't have much of a suggestion.
HR Sim League Boston Celtics - 2002 World Champions
PG: Sam Cassell, Steve Blake
SG: Grant Hill, Michael Dickerson
SF: Josh Childress, Jamie Feick
PF: Chris Webber, Jamie Feick, Jason Maxiell
C: Shaquille O'Neal, John Amaechi
We can just get rid of it completely if yall want...
That's the only real solution.
Bump up rebounds to 18 a game and lower assists to 15 a game. Give 50 points to championship team, 15 to finals and 5 for making the playoffs.
HR Re-Draft: New York Knicks
The current system isn't that bad, but lowering assists and rebounds would probably be the best option. It'll still favor the stars but at least everybody would get a fair chance at points.
I only received one point all season.
Emeka Okafor - Al Jefferson - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Damon Stoudamire
Brad Miller - Samaki Walker - Mickael Pietrus - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston
Why not do like 15 rebounds =$1 and 20 or more = $2
At least in that case there is a cap per game, but lower guys get points as well. Having a Garnett or Camby or Duncan should get you extra points, but don't jus shut the little guys out.
I think the problem arose when points were made harder to get but the training cost stayed the same.
