My defense has been brutal overall and my frontcourt has been disappointing. I benched Big Country and I'm going with Miller. I also benched Greek Shaq and going with Drew Gooden as the backup PF.

I'm hoping that slowing the pace down to normal will help my defense as well as trapping heavy in the halfcourt and barely pressing at all, but I really have no idea what's gonna happen.

It's up to the "player" which happens sometimes and others doesn't. That and we use the first FA sim to sign your own players. It's getting better.

If your player asks for a big contract and you decline it, you also lose his bird rights, just saying

I think the parts where the players asks for the contract should be sign and tradable.
Also still looking for any upgrade at pointguard, power forward or center. Everyone other than Allen (and Pierce unless I'm getting a young all Nba player back) is up for grabs. 3 first round picks McDyess and Jared Jefferies should bring in someone good.
