Seriously I need to sign some of these FAs or i'm screwed. I'm shocked by how much some guys have went for. Shareef was not deserving of max contract. He is crazy TO prone, shoots a low fg% and doesnt score that much but he still got the max??

You should have kept at least one of those guys.

Shareef was not worth it, Glen Robinson can still be had but he is definitely heading down hill, Ratliff I prolly should have kept.

Whoever paid for him thinks he is. Larry Hughes may not be worth what i think someone paid for him, but someone thought he was so they paid it. Someone also paid Gary Payton 15 million for a year. Whatevs /shrug

I kind of agree with your reasons, but what will you do with all those cap space?

What are the leagues' GMs thoughts on offering Baron a max deal? Was I the only one to do it? I had the cap space and I'd rather have 1 max player at a position of need (PG or SF) than a couple 5-6 mill guys.

If I had the space, no doubt I would have done it. And I am very mad about him joining the Celtics.

Shareef may be turnover prone, but he scores and rebounds. 43.5% isn't horrible FG%... I'll gladly take 17-11 anyday. With Tim Thomas, Shareef, G-Wall, Williamson, and Antonio Davis... I'm stacked at forward.

Young, distributed, defender and can score if he needs to. Think it was a great decision.

Yeah I saw his scoring was down last year, but he took 400 less shots overall than the previous year and still avg'd 12.5 per game. For arguments sake Payton avg'd 19 ppg last year on 17 shots per game and Baron avg'd 12.5 ppg on 10 shots per game.

I don't remember if Trell had him as a scoring option or not.
