With the 25th pick in the draft, the Boston Celtics select the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Center Tyson Chandler. Chandler will anchor the Celtics defense, and bring great efficiency on offense. He is an NBA Champion, and now being paired with the player who made him, Chris Paul, he plans to bring another championship to Boston. The duo of Paul and Chandler has returned.

His next pick should either be a PF who could score in the post or a wing scorer.

Yeah, the reason why I wanted Chandler is that he will allow me to focus more on my offense. He covers a lot of people's flaws on defense. Sort of how Paul does the same on offense. That's why I wanted these 2

He's ok in the post, but not a true post scorer.

He covers alot of ground, can anchor a defense, and shoots a high FG% and FT%. Perfect compliment.

I didn't mention any names. That was someone else. I suggested which positions.

Besides, you have a shady history of following rules when it comes to fantasy leagues

lol, I don't pick for another 50 picks. I'd be surprised if West is there, and even if he is, there are other players I prefer. I have my own plan

what if we drafted someone who retires this off season? what happens?

  17. #517
Typically most drafts have who's not drafted board so people don't doubly pick (and most of the time someone still does double pick) it's not a big deal.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I know. I don't hold it against you, I meant cool down. Don't freak out over somebody mentioning DWest. I mean, if you're going to do that, then my username is against the rules

With my pick I select Danny Granger, a proven scoring machine to compliment josh smith's great defensive game

  23. #523
There is a better offensive player imo that would have fit better with Josh Smith. Not a bad pick with Granger but a little surprising.

Having established that ever elusive low-post offensive threat with Cousins, the Charlotte Bobcats, with the 27th pick in the draft, select:

    Serge Ibaka

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xM8DWlz24A

Under-utilized in Scott Brooks' system, Ibaka's per 36 minute average this year are 12.1 ppg, 10.0 rpg, and a staggering 4.8 bpg.

Runner-up for DPOY to Chandler (by a mere 17 votes, and an award which I believe he deserved over Chandler), Ibaka clearly established himself as one of the premier defensive forces in the league, and with a solid touch from 18 feet in and a surprisingly mobile post game, he is already one of the league's most impactful post presences.

Playing out of the shadow of Durant and Westbrook and alongside an offensive complement with Cousins, rather than a redundant player like Perkins, only furthers his value, and give me, I believe, the most dangerous low post combination in the league.
