Finding a nice name that most will be satisfied with is too difficult. The perfect name for the franchise has been in another city for over 30 years, so we know they aren't going to just give us the name. It is only a matter of time before the team gets renamed to something ridiculious. Anyways, I'm starting to think of more out the box, maybe something that relates to the Mississipi river/Lake?

Any chance you could do one with the current AFL Voodoo logo? Would love to see how that looked on a jersey/court.
What about New Orleans snapper? That's something that came to mind today. Local ties, rolls of the tongue, can be paired easily with Saints. Just a thought.

I like Soul, don't like Voodoo or Krewe. I do like
New Orleans Cayenne. It spikes up everything in NO. It is ubiquitous. I would use it as singular and plural.
