How Long Until EJ Passes Wade

Kobe is old and declining. Wade is breaking down too. Somebody has to step up and be the next face of the position in the NBA. I think this time at the end of next year, if Gordon can keep this pace up, he will be THE SG of the NBA.
Tom Smykowski: Well-well look. I already told you: I deal with the god damn customers so the engineers don't have to. I have people skills; I am good at dealing with people. Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?

One season of good health and he will be knocking on that door

He has all the talent to do it...just needs to put the seasons together.

That's the key. He has to stay healthy to even be considered.

When Gordon is around 26 I would say, so about 3 more years. He needs to stay healthy though.

Ironically, Wade was facing similar problems at one point in his career. Wondering if he'd ever stay healthy like talking about.

I see the hornets as a fringe playoff team next year and EJ getting the allstar snub, then the year after he takes over as the best shooting guard in the NBA and we get a middle seed, if he can be healthy and Demps makes smart moves.

IMO, we were a fringe playoff team THIS year with a healthy Gordon. So I have to think we could be middle of the road next year with whatever excellent rookie we're gonna get.

I wanna see what cp3 and Gordon can do together tbh. 2013 will be awesome!!

For some reason, I think media will continually compare him to Westbrook/Rose because of similar build and style. Even as the best SG i think he will be ranked with those 2.

I agree. I think there will be a point when the basketball world is asking the question..."Who is the best guard in the league; Derrick Rose or Eric Gordon?

Absolutely we were a fringe playoff team with him healthy all season. We are certainly better in my opinion than the Rockets team we just played. Do you realize we had 40 MILLION DOLLARS (Ariza, Jack, Kaman and Okafor) sitting on the bench and we were still the better team on the floor tonight? Wow. This team can really make some noise next season, I truly believe that.

You are hardly the only person that thinks that. Anyone that has watched half of our games knows that we are a scorer away from being a bubble team. Next year we should at least be a fringe playoff team, if not better.
