Monty knows something about Gordon, but can't yet say it (WWLTV)

Very strange comment form Monty Williams about Eric Gordon; says he'd like to tell us everything he knows but can't. Says Gordon will ...

...they're still "running tests" on Gordon's knee and they'll know more soon.

My first reaction is that it must be something bad, if his next statement is about knowing more soon after further tests.

He would have said it himself if it were good news. Chances are it's extremely bad -- better to let the player himself explain the full details.

Jeez. Looks like our team may have taken medical advice from the Saints. Or maybe it's good? Lets just wait..

Could be bad . . . we need to confirm this horrible thing.

Could be good . . . got an extension ready to sign as long as the knee meets X, Y, Z criteria and the tests are being run now.

I think something might be true. Maybe.

Hey Rocket Man clear your pm's.

I was thinking contract extension but given that he has missed several games with a knee, I just don't have a good feeling now.

It can't be good news or he would have said what it was.

WOW ... i hope bad news is not coming! The Hornets seem to take 1 step forward and then 15 steps back. Hope it's not early retirement due to a major knee issue. Prayers it is good news!

we dont know what question was asked to monty...but i doubt it was anything about an extension

chances are it is not good news about the knee...more than just a bone bruise...i hope not : (

Just checked Gordons twitter he hasn't posted in 3 days...

    from the previous article:

Gordon said he has done no running or cardio rehabilitation since being shut down Jan. 6. He has iced the knee and received electric bone stimulation to facilitate, and hopefully expedite, healing. He’s due for another exam on the knee next week as the extension deadline looms.

I cant believe people thought we were just being cautious with him initially...anything involving the knee is not good...and it sounds like it is getting worse...gordon didnt even seem that encouraged when he was talking to bob and gil last monday...even if he is good to go next week, it was still a serious enough injury to be out this long

Maybe it's knee cancer. Knee gangrene. Maybe his knee was a twin in the womb that he absorbed, and now it's causing trouble like in that book. I think there was a House along those lines, as well, just without the knee front-and-center.

Are we just calling all the bad stuff and spazing out or waiting to see what happens because guessing does nothing except giving us credit for `calling it'?

Anyone have pawned his knee yet? Can I get that one?
