    Saints @ Packers

Being the negativity Nancy that I am I say Packers by ten. The defense is still a wildcard.

It's on the road and I suspect GB will have the upper hand but you never can tell. These teams are pretty evenly matched, and I don't feel we really saw the entire Saints O during pre-season. The Saints D will be in trouble if they can't stop the run ... in fact it will be brutal if they can't stop the run. But I don't think it will be a problem, should at least be a good game.

hopefully the line for the saints show up and not put brees in a position to make a bad passing decision. the defense can't give aaron rodgers all day to pass. the saints need pressure from the fairly little to no experience defensive ends with smith suspended. if they let ryan grant run all over them than we have problems (good back not elite).

I have to go with GB as well because of our Defense, and particularly our defensive secondary. Hope I'm wrong.

    Time for some football!!!

Also Lance Moore is out. The Saints really need to fire their strength and conditioning staff -- they're terrible.

Who else is out? Will Smith is out, right? What's our DB/S situation going into this game? Rogers is going to pick the Saints' secondary apart.

Packers have a lot on their side. Defending Superbowl Champions....home field advantage....the whole unvieling of the banner thing...etc.

BUT....Drew Brees has a solid record against big time QB's in big games. The Saints can win on the road. We're walking in to a hornets nest...but it's not like we're the Falcons in 2006 coming to the Superdome.

Strike early, take the crowd out of the game. Kill off those pre game emotions. Don't go 3 and out and give the Falcons chances to jump ahead early.

Wow, best they could do is that cheesy (no pun intended) 'yall ready for this' crap? At least get a nice Polka or something! Also doesn't anyone sing the National Anthem normally anymore?

Typical Greg Williams D to start off: good for a flashy blitz now and then but horrible 75% of the time on coverage.

3rd and 12 and you don't pressure the QB and play the softest prevent you can - idiots

I've already hit the mute button. This one might be painful. If the offense commits turnovers the Saints will get blown out. They're going to have to shoulder the load again this year.

Greg Williams is terrible. But too many people think he's a genius so they'll never fire him. This team needs a guy like Wade Phillips as DC.

Good news: touchdown. Bad news: here comes the defense.
