    I'll try.

They were already a sponsor, so this isn't as good as a multi-billion dollar company comimg from out of the weeds and tossing a million a year at the team that is all gravy.

Really though, this is great news.

42, do you have any ideas who another potential sponsor could be?

    Capital one? Hornbeck? Iberia? Hyatt?

    From http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/201...f=twitter_feed on SI:

The Hornets have never had as many as five seven-figure sponsors for a single season, Weber said, adding that the franchise also has prospects for adding a sixth.

You know, for how crappy/slow NBA news has been with the lockout, the Hornets just keep coming with new, positive, encouraging information. It's definitely helped kill time but seriously, this is awesome news. Things may finally be starting to turn around.

Loved the article. I really hope what you mentioned about getting a sponsor who would be involved in Champions Square works out. I have been hoping for the Hornets to get more involve in that project.

Bandago you seem to be spot on with your posts and predictions. I'm not asking for your source of inside information because you obviously have a connection, but are these companies that you named just your ideas or are you hearing these names as potential sponsors from your sources?

Mostly educated guesses but i know they are talking to Hyatt about having a very close relationship which obviously benefits both of them

First and only post bumps an 8 month old thread about Chevron moving up one sponsorship level?

    What?

Possibly a spam account that just picked a random thread to bump? Because the comment doesnt even seem related to anything.

Chevron Center does have a nice sound to it...not unlike the New Orleans Knights...
