Well, I just returned from media day and the biggest news has to be the two new alternate looks the Hornets will display on special occasions this season.
Have a look at the pics in the posts that follow.

This is a completely new uniform design that reflects the team's new attitude.
You gotta love seeing that "NEW ORLEANS" across his chest!!!
I guess the jerseys will grow on us. They look a little plain to me at first. How were they in person, say-what?

I could not find Moiso, so guessed at #11. Any word on why Moiso and Bullard were not in the team picture?
O.K. let me see if I can get the names matched to the players:Originally posted by HORNETSFAN
Who is #55? Is #11 Moiso (i.e. did he change from #6 to #11?) Also, I do not see Bullard. Could Harvey have had some "inside scoop here?"
Back row: Stacey Augmon (2), P.J. Brown (42), Elden Campbell (5), Thomas Hamilton (55), Jamaal Magloire (21), Robert Traylor (34), Lee Nailon (54), Paul Silas
Front row: Kirk Haston (35), Jamal Mashburn (24), Courtney Alexander (32), Baron Davis (1), David Wesley (4), Terrell McIntyre (11), Bryce Drew (17), George Lynch (9)
Matt Bullard (50) and Jerome Moiso (6) are not pictured and were not present.
I like the jerseys and I'm really glad they are not too busy or "new wave". Those colors work better as trim, rather than being the dominate color of the jersey (for my taste).
Thanks for the pics. Maybe they should do a team portriat in the clown unis, by an aclaimed clown painter on black velvet.
Here is just a wider shot showing the owners and coaching staff.
I wouldn't call them plain - just understated. They did look good though.Originally posted by HORNETSFAN

Some of the guys as they move from station to station.
The unis do look better in the close up shots. I guess from a distance, the "trim" around the numbers fades into the white. Although, like I said, as long as it says "NEW ORLEANS," I am ecstatic about them!

Tracot Traylor looks like he is in shape for the first time i his life. He is going to kill guys. He looks that good he might have a run at PJs starting spot. Remember he has taken just after Vince in a very good draft year. The knock on him was always about his weight and stamina. I know it sounds silly to say he could start but he could scare the crap out of PJ.
Tractor did looks alot slimmer, but is it because he is standing next to 55??Originally posted by bosco

I think he looks like he is in pretty good shape also. That is great news for him and for the Hornets. However, I do not think Brown has anything to worry about.
