    Because I believe that they are both expiring and OKC wouldn't really play either of them anyway. They're just taking the higher expiring and New York got a guy that they can actually play for the stretch run. Makes you wonder about a David Lee deal though...

    YHT probably felt that bringing back two guys they had traded wasn't in their best interest. They are trying to build something and it's obvious that Wilcox and Smith aren't part of their future plans. Rose isn't either, but he hasn't been yo-yo'd back and forth. Wilcox and Smith were probably dying to get out of there and didn't want to go back.
