That means we have a great foundation for several years now. As long as Mash is healthy, we'll have them both for a long time. I'm happy.

Now we can play some ball without all the speculation.

It's hard to turn down 84 million. I can't figure out why he waited so long to put name on the dotted line. Right now CNNSI is the only one reporting this online, we'll know it's true if ESPN or TSN has it online soon.

I won't believe it until ol "3 cents" says he's gone!

    Seriously, this is great news!

A football game can't stop hurricanes.

    It can't fix levees.

    Or rebuild houses.

But it can let a city know...

That it's a city once again.

    Welcome back, New Orleans.

He would have been stupid too wait any longer. If he would have gotten hurt in one of these summer games, it could have been bye bye max deal. I'm glad to have him back. IMO he will be one of the best if not the best point guard in the league very soon.

What a shocking thread title! I thought B.D. QUIT the team!

"You see, "Baron Davis resigns" is actually the OPPOSITE of "Baron Davis re-signs"

    Whew! I am brathing again.

YOU GOTTA SAY IT OUT LOUD - "ELLIS HUGH! ELLIS HUGH! ELLIS HUGH! TIGERS!"

I think you are right tim duncan, The trade must have has something to do with the signing. But he was probably leaning towards staying with the hornets for some time. what a great day!

Does anyone need some CROW besides DA?

  16. #16
I'll take a helping of crow birthday cake because I thought he would wait until the deadline as to try and work out a trade. Great news though! This gives us a legitimate shot at taking this ride to the finals.

Yes, I thought he might have waited too. But, I always wanted him here first and foremost. Miller would have been good, but Baron is better IMO. I can't wait for that first game now on Oct. 30th. We are going to really have a great starting 5 with some great depth. I just hope they can stay healthy this season.
