4. plus the Higher Lottery Pick( If the lucky ball gives GS the lets say #1 pick and the Hornets are #3...the Hornets get the #1 ( swap )

darn. that really isn't that great of a deal in my opinion. i think we should have gotten their lottery pick, or at LEAST their second rounder for the next two years.
that kind of sucks.

It means we definitely will not get a lottery pick from GS. It just means that if they get #1 and we get #2, we swap positions (i.e. we get the higher of the two picks).
We will probably finish with the worst record, Dale Davis will be gone after this season so we essentially traded BD for Sppedy Claxton and 500K.

It would suck if the Hornets get like #1-2 and GSW gets #2-3...if that happened then the Hornets wouldnt get any pick out of the deal, it would basically be Davis+Claxton for Davis.
I have no problem with the pick swap . . . what are we going to do build this team with only draft picks from 2005 draft pool?
To be honest we can't afford to take the risk of having two first round picks, it would be very expensive wasting a roster spots on multiple draft picks. I'll gladly take the higher pick of the two, and get the rest of my roster in FA. Think about it, do you really want two or three draft picks. Most 2nd rounders don't make the team anyway.
If the Warriors draft below us, then we get nothing for that portion of the deal?

Awful trade. With there pick its a good one, without it we should have walked away. So bad.

We need more the Speedy Claxton. Cap space can't score points or play defense.

There is no extra player or pick either way. It is simply a swap of positions.
