Facts are indisputable! So,if we all went by the same facts, then theoretically we would all come to the same conclusion! Hence.no DISCUSSION forum cuz there would be nothing to discuss! Coherent data for one's thought process is all that is needed! Thus DEBATE ensues! If someones only line of defense is >>You have a different opinion than me, therefore you are wrong, you are are stupid & thats that, well that doesnt make for a very good discussion! The FACT is > Opinions differ although the facts may be the same! I like the red uniforms !
Huh, you could be right !:huh2: IMO, not fact, but IMO, I wouldve thought that if he would have said FACT, not facts ! Your statement is a FACT ! & I majored in biology, not english, so its quite possible that I misinterpreted his statement. Either way, I like the red uniforms! :Pepper:
Are you reading any other threads? It seems to me what I'm doing is interacting just fine with posters who will do something besides repeat the same false or inconsistent statements over and over again.
Go see me talk to people about Jrue's role or supporting the post about Green or talking about Dell, Q-Pon.
I'm not sure what a meaningless attempt even means, but I've asked very plain questions and demonstrated that I read and understood their claims. Then, I gave them my evaluation of them, asked for reply. The reply was off-topic and included comments about me being smug. Just because I don't cower before their insults or buy into their oh-so-typical tactics doesn't make me smug or insulting or dismissing of "people." I'm dismissing these claims, these tactics. I've agreed with these guys in other threads. It's nothing personal, but they take it that way.
Again, as I've said before, just point to some insults or dismissing that was not preceded by the same treatment directed at me. Find it, and I'll apologize. I'm not bothering looking for it, but it shouldn't be hard to find if what these people claim is true.
At what point did BSS even enter into this thread? Did you even read it? Are you just coming after me arbitrarily? Of course you didn't read it . . . if you did, you would have seen that I did point out that each loss and each win only count as 1. I'm not sure how not reading the thread shows respect for the topic of the thread, but I've been participating in the conversation. You seem to be primarily trying to attack me.
Point to some semantics and hyperbole, if you please.
It's silly to ask for something, so you claim. Now who is dismissing?
The guys is a joke. Only way to deal with attention hungry internet personas is to not humor them.
UNO, only way I can say it is that I feel that good teams lose to good teams. If you lose to good teams, those loses are experienced by all good teams so you will be in the thick of it as far as the playoffs are concerned. However, good teams don't make a habit of losing to bad teams and the ones in the playoffs usually don't. Therefore, those losses are magnified because they are what sets you apart from the playoff teams. I know in the win/loss column they all count the same, but you can expect to lose some games to the Spurs, Mavs, Grizzlie, Rockets, etc. All good teams will lose those, but not all good teams will lose, say, 10 games to terrible teams. Those set you apart, so, IMO, those hurt way worse than your typical lose.
Personal attack.
A nice win against a competitor for a playoff spot, one that locked up a tie-breaker, and was ripe with emotion.
Someone above said losses can count more than others but that wins could not and it wasn't their point.
I suppose they just could not bring themselves to say something good about the team, so I will.
Long way to go, but this is a nice help in the playoff hunt.
