Refs shoulda called that one, they've been horrible tonight. Monty agrees as well.
And no foul
Game over. And no foul?
o well
Also it would be nice if there was a timer/shot clock on the screen...
Anderson should've dumped that off to Davis.
Should have let Davis take the shot or drove to the basket with Vasquez or Rivers
This is how you lose games, not knowing the situation. Where's the haste? Where's getting the ball to your best players?
Gotta hope we'll learn because of this.
Would love to see Rivers in this situation. Dude made magic happen vs Duke. Maybe he can duplicate it with that Skip Bayless clutch gene.
How can they say that looked clean? That so clearly went across the arm.
a lot of encouraging things to take away from this game though
Ah well, at least I have Jennings on my fantasy team :crytear:
All that hard work by Davis for nothing
RYNO FOR 3333333333!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He's Peja in his prime. The guy we thought we were getting before all those years ago.
It's ova with now. Game over man game over
Growing pains
Hornets lose 117-113
Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis average 6 to's per game between each other. They had 1 to tonight.
Let me repeat that, 1 turnover.
Sucks, oh well
Nothing encouraging about this game...sorry.
113 should be enough to win for any Monty Williams coached team... unfortunately the team's given up 100, 110 and 117 in the last 3 games
Is it just me or Monty got a weird rotation set.
Davis was -17
What's going on with Lopez? He started off well but then didn't seem to play much later in the game. Did he get injured?
If you guys see nothing wrong with Davis's lack of effort carry on, I don't like to be that guy it's whatever. I don't even like watching this team, I understand Davis is a rookie but the effort should be there. It's one of the reasons JSMOOVE became my favorite Hornet.
Davis's lack of effort?
Vasquez wasn't the number one pick, if it wasn't for Vasquez Davis would be lucky to break 15 in any game. VASQUEZ HAS TO SHOOT, you think he likes going out there shooting that many shots? Vasquez has always been a pass first point guard. He's been put in a lot of terrible situations Vasquez has been the MVP of this team thus far. I also missed the part of basketball where the stat sheet was the see all tell all of a performance.
It's nice when it lines up. But it takes nothing into account about the cause of the point difference when you were on the court. I mean, Ellis's team won the game. His 2nd half made a huge difference because no one out there could guard him once he set about getting his buckets. But he has a -11.
It's not like Davis himself allowed 17 points or something.
Lots to like about this game. Vasquez needs to cut down on the bad shots. 5-16 just isn't going to cut it. Needs to defend better too. Still, he knows how to run a team, and his raw numbers are good. I would try my hardest to trade him + our 1st round pick for Jennings... like right now.
The bench all played well, and if the defense is a little better, we win the game by 10 points. Teams shouldn't put up 100 points on us.
Davis had a great game... Very encouraged. 10-14 from the field, 8-9 from the stripe. Ridiculous!
our backcourt puts no pressure on the ball on defence. Vasquez is a great backup PG but we are in desperate need of a starting PG. Gordon plus a starting PG will make this team look so much better.
dcoop sounds confused
Lol we got **** poor guards as starter. I'm sry but vasquez is a good bench player not starter material. Also Roberts need to learn to stop dribbling the ball too much.
