yep. When Roberts get in the game he's only looking for his shot. He dribbles the ball until there's about 5 sec left on the shot clock and then try to make something happen. I hope he works on getting other people involved.

We would have won if Matt Caroll had seen the floor. He's our championship piece.
lets see....your best player really doesn't get into it at all. your starting center gets 1 rebound, your best 3 point shooter goes 2 for 10...and you come up short by 4 against a very solid team....oh, well...
no wonder harden has been going off, he's the only player in the nba the travelling rule doesn't apply too. in the third quarter alone i counted 3 unwhistled
Our guards are horrid defensively.
This team would be so much better with Gordon. I mean, seriously, he is EXACTLY what the team needs.
Even better.

Can someone add this to the smileys?
This team is going to be seriously good once Gordon comes back... I think most of us are forgetting just how good Gordon is... and as some have mentioned he is exactly what this team is missing!
I just don't understand why Roberts waves off the post every time there is a switch.
Also the NBA seriously needs to start telling the Refs to keep their eyes open.. Parsons with the clear double dribble on a fast break attempt, Asik with more travels than can be counted donw low and forget about Harden. There was a layup play where I counted 5 steps!!!

Also, Jeremy Lin isn't the same Jeremy Lin that we played in the Garden last season. That signing was a bust.
Doesn't have to do with our game, but:

@DarnellMayberryKendrick Perkins & Zach Randolph had an alteration. Police investigating.
Jenni Carlson @JenniCarlson_OK
As @DarnellMayberry says, there may be no investigation under way, but a NewsOK staffer heard yelling and walls and doors being hit.
Harden can be held in check. I suspect the next time they play he will be. You just need to be able to funnel him to a big and rotate if he tries to pass. If thats done, he'll either throw up a contested brick or put his head down and drive, in a straight line, at all costs.
Aminu really disappointed. Got shook pretty easily. Somebody like G....DAMIIT! :hot:
I thought Aminu played fine, he could have been more aggressive getting around screens but the biggest problem was the slow footed Lopez imo.
Harden had 19 of his 30 points and was 7-11 at the half. In the second half when Lopez didn't get as many minutes as the other starters Harden scored 11 points on 3-9 shooting.
The refs treated Harden like he was MJ. The guy was flopping and traveling but still getting the fouls.
Another thing I came to notice. Their starters played 48 combined minutes in the fourth quarter. Ours? 27 combined minutes. I know we outscored them by 5, but you have to think what could have been.
I'm just upset that I was too late for the EG "appreciation" thread.
Jim Eichenhofer @Jim_Eichenhofer
Austin Rivers, with a similar theme: "We outplayed (Houston) for three quarters but they just killed us so badly in the second quarter."
3m Jim Eichenhofer @Jim_Eichenhofer
Anthony Davis: "The 2nd quarter was when it got out of hand. We just gave up too many points. We were trying to fight out of a hole."
Lin, Harden, and Parsons either played the entire fourth or were very close to it.
Lin played all but 18 seconds of the fourth.
Harden played all but 1 minute and 8 seconds of the fourth.
Parsons played the entire fourth.
Greivis played 7 minutes and 24 seconds in the fourth, Rivers played 8 minutes and 41 seconds in the fourth, but to me here is the real head scratcher, Aminu only played 4 minutes and 5 seconds in the fourth. Xavier played 7 minutes and 55 seconds in the fourth.
Monty could be doing his minutes by design. His first season with CP3/West I remember he went out of his way those first few months (at least) to conserve minutes for the starters. I know we as fans want wins and want to be as competitive as possible, but I actually like the fact that Monty believes in not burning his players out if at all possible, especially this early in the season. I think the fact that the Rockets principals played almost all of the fourth is ridiculous.
Flame away at me if you wish.
Rockets main men logging so many minutes is the odd ball this early in the season. Guess they really wanted this one.
Rockets also have more identifiable players to go with. Hornets hot hands seems to change game by game. I could say more but that would require speaking the forbidden name.
It is...forrbeedden. :(
Can i just say anthony davis looked like **** out there today
Great point. Rockets probably have more of an identity, therefore they can go straight to it and ride it. Us, not so much. It's a surprise to us who goes off from game to game, I can only imagine how Monty feels about that. He's probably still throwing players against the wall and seeing what sticks.
Is this who we are talking about?
Eric Gordon @TheofficialEG10 14 Nov
Tough loss, but the team worked hard. Greivis Vásquez deserves more credit, he's been playing out of his mind for us so far.
Why does he even bother?
LOL do you think someone is doing his tweeting for him?
Still got to be positive about the game. This team can have some guys with an off night and still be in the game. They are really weak at one position. Imo, a shooting guard away, that can also play defense . I think we all knew that Harden or Chandler was going to go off on us tonight. Still was right in the game.
leave ej alone man some of yall are takin this way too far
Did Davis even play? I never even noticed.
No, he didn't play. He was MIA.
