Actually, before that some FA choose to resign at at set price. We then have the choice to refuse or accept. If we refuse, we can't negotiate with that player during the 1st FA sim.

And lose their bird years and lose any advantage there is to resigning a player (going over cap)

yeah losing the bird years kinda sucked think i might have been able to get bonzi back o well

question, if I acquired players in a deal prior to the start of the draft... are they eligible to be traded now? I'm not sure how the days are counted i the offseason and if 60 days have passed.

Any of you guys tinker with having a 6th man being a scoring option? How did that work out?

Probably not. Prior to the draft was around day 175 or so.. End of FA was day 185. and its day 10 now. so you got 4-ish more sims

Anyone interested in this?:

Ricky Davis (10 ppg 6 rpg 2 apg 1,5 spg as a 3rd scoring option) + 10 points + up to 3 1st round picks for a star SG? Maybe you can dump some bad contracts too.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm moving Ron Mercer back to 2, Wallace to 3 and Thomas off the bench at 3/4. Wallace wasn't working out at the 2 as well as I had hoped. Mercer can score too.
