Contenders don't have much to offer. Low draft picks, maybe some young players.

You didn't have to trade Maurice Taylor away dude.

I agree with that. No reason to trade. Bad trade for a rebuilding team.

Its the same thing I was doing with Lafrentz. I dangled him around, got some offers that I didn't like (however they were way better than what you got for Jamison), and decided to keep him and hope he decides to resign. If not, I'll have the money in cap space. Jamison has been one of the best players in this sim league since it started. I guess it all comes down to just different philosophies on what is the best way to rebuild. It may work out well for you. It probably will work out well for you in this draft if it isn't considered "tanking."

I won't be nearly as bad next year. I have 2 top 5 picks currently and tons of cap space.

And you could lose your with no guarantee that you sign anyone of value AND you have never had a winning team. I'll take my chances and take the under on you. :)

I do think the Magic are a strong candidate to lose their pick. I don't have any intel on the matter, but my gut tells me they have a good shot at losing their pick.

Bulls Recieve:

Sacramento 04 First
Golden State 05 first
Corey Magette
Jerome Moiso
Anthony Carter

Warriors Receive:
Glenn Robinson
William Avery...

I got 2 first, and nice young players for Glenn Robinson. Compare that to what you got for jamison (who is head and shoulders above Robinson), and you can see why some may consider that tanking.

I thought Orlando made the playoffs in the first season.

Only one that knows that is CP3. I doubt it, but really the nuggets and the magic should have their teams placed where the computer sets the best lineup and pace etc based on it's recommendation.

Was he an expiring? What season was this? Because before last season, no one knew how easily your players could be lost to FA.

Well, I offered people trades of less than that in return and was shot down almost every time.

Yes he was expiring. It was this season. Like a week ago

Meh, I don't see this as any different than what happens in the real league.

I'm just waiting for the fury to come out at the teams that are above the cap.
