What are the advantages and disadvantages to changing a players position?

As opposed to just placing him in that position on the depth chart?

apparently changing positions can affect some ratings for some players (like rebounding)... or so I've read

That's correct. Some players ratings decrease in some areas and some increase when you change their position.

Dude i have Horrendous game in my second my player (Athetic SG who couldnt hit the backboard on a shot and got passed up by 16 teams before eventually going to dallas (Boo). This year I decided I wanted to change it up and knowing I wanted to play for the Hornets I made a PG so that I wouldn't have to compete with Eric Gordon for minutes and could play next to him. Every other year I make a All Around or 3 point specialist SG. This year I made a 3 Point specialist PG. I'm loving My Player more than last year tho. I like that points are tougher to get and all the things they added to it.

Going to get started on with My Team mode tonight which looks awesome too !

I am curious to see how Funderburke's position change will affect him. He wasn't much of a rebounder anyway, but his inside game/defense as my 3rd SF wouldn't be a bad thing.

How late were you up playing 2k last night? lol I was on Madden til 2am :| I'm a waste product today lol

MyTeam is the one thats like Ultimate Team in Madden or Fifa right? You kinda build up a team by buying players

I only stayed up till around 11:30 playing. Wanted to play all night but get a long weekend so I'll be playing all weekend for sure!!!

Not sure how Funderburke would do at SF. I'm shopping Al Harrington tho if your interested. Young and is an expiring.

Yeah that's what everyone is comparing it too. I don't play Madden tho so I'm not sure how similar they are. I watched a few videos on youtube and it looks like a lot of fun. You can play offline or online against people with your Team.

I thought he was pretty decent at PF last year or the year before. His defense may drop if moved to SF. but who knows what will happen. Guess you will find out when the index is updated.

So last night at the hotel I'm at, I was at the bar/restaurant and one of the waiters/bartenders knows me cuz I go down there for food all the time. Well I hadn't been down there for a drink in a while, and he was like "yo dude whats up? Where you been?" and i was like "ahhhhh I brought Madden 13 with me, so i usually grab my food to go haha" he's like wait Xbox or PS3? and I was like Xbox...

For some reason I got really bored of Madden every year by the time 2k comes out. This year I didn't even get Madden because I didn't see the point but that's just me

I play 2K 8 months of the year.

Yeah, I like NBA games, pretty fun. I like Madden too. That'd be a tough choice to make... although this year's Madden was pretty awesome.
