I'll co-GM if anyone needs me, I was only starting to become an NBA fan as of the '05 season, and this seems really complicated, but i'll take a swing at it if need be.

Alright guys, just letting yall know I have all the player salaries for every season from the 85-86 season on. I'll probably start updating all player contracts to make it more realistic.

Just curious, you are going by their contracts at that point in time, yes? For instance, Kobe is making a lot more now than he did in 2000. Just wondering haha.

I kind of did it funny. Like Kobe's salary in his first year jumped less than two million.

But there were some guys, like Billups was like this, that hadn't "made their mark" in the league yet I guess, so their contracts were nothing. I think Billups was barely a million.

So I just left those guys at what they were (might go back and increase it by year, don't know yet). Then there were other guys who's contracts just stopped. There was one guy (don't remember who) who went from like 16M in the final year of his deal, to like 4M in the first year of his new deal, so I kept that last season at 16M. I basically just tried to make it as fair and possible, and considering I'm the one who got hosed the most with Garnetts ridiculous contract, I did a decent job lol

Even if their contract ended real early though, nobody has less than a 4 year deal, which is what the game was putting them at.

Sounds like a lot of work... Can we see their contracts before we pick them?

I'm not planning on updating it until after the player is picked. Just too much work to do it all at once, but the contracts aren't too large. I don't think any of the guys remaining really have big deals, so it shouldn't be a issue.
