Are the Pels still looking to add quality depth behind Jrue Holiday? What does this mean for the PG position?
Even if Pels were looking for him (he was planning a visit in NO this week) Pels had only minimum for him. With probably small playing time.
Kings gave him backup role. Had also RLE worth 2.8 millions.
No brainer IMO.

I must say the idea of even looking at Lawson didn't make much sense to me unless they don't think Galloway, Moore, or Hield can handle the ball for any amount of time. I also wonder if we're going to be granted a DPE for Evans. If that were the case, I'd hope we go get a DL guy that won't be a distraction when he's not getting enough minutes. I feel Lawson wouldn't have brought too much baggage.
