Trade for Dion Waiters Article

The Cavs need a center.

Salmons and Ajinca for Waiters.

That's what the article pretty much indicates.
A role player for Waiters.....no chance the Cavs do that.
Waiters must really be a cancer.

Can Dion Waiters replicate the Gordon role? I admit i don't watch him a whole lot. But giving up what little bench depth we have and another pick only really makes sense if Waiters can come in and be our starting SG - letting Evans slide back over to SF.

Reading that article Waiters sounds like we would be trading away some depth for a player similar to a less efficient Gordon from two years ago - a guy who hasn't checked his ego yet and wants to be the focal point. We already have one of those in Evans, we don't need another one.

Yeah fit wise I don't really have a big issue with Gordon going down. The question is who do we give up. Unless we are trading away trash I'd rather pursue a SF, and I highly doubt the Cavs would settle for trash.

He's got bench spark written all over him.

I'd gladly let 'em have Salmons and Ajinca for Waiters. Y'know, if Cleveland were stupid.

Waiters is really good. There is NO way the Cavs would do that.

If people dont like Tyreke they would hate Waiters. He would be a terrible fit here

We don't have enough basketballs to bring Waiters here. Two Philly guys, who are friends....man, it would be boom or bust...Dell would be crazy to find out.....

Good? What is good? Some people argue it is making tough shots. Others may say it is using their ability to help the team win games. In one sense Waiters is good. In the other.... well that one isnt so clear.

Still if we had to give up replacable, just above d league depth for the hope Waiters figures it out I'd do it.

I didn't want to create another trade thread, but I saw this proposal and thought it was interesting....

R. Anderson and Dragic to Boston
Rondo and Rivers to Phoenix
Jeff Green and Gerald Green to New Orleans

we need only one Green in NO :)

We already have one cancer in tyreke, don't need another, chemo would have no chance of working on this team.

I wouldn't call Tyreke a cancer. ..just needs to find his role. .With Gordon out he has to adjust. ..like everyone else. .

Would y'all trade Anderson to the warriors for Speights and Barnes?
I would consider it. Then I would try to trade Ajinca and Miller, at least Ajinca, for a decent backup pg. I'm confident in Withey.

probably so. Harrison Barnes would also be adding the type of guy who wont be injury prone (i got theories okay)

It would be a dream come true!!!! But Pheonix trading Dragic for Rodno is odd. Rondo is even more like eric bledsoe and isah thomas than dragic is?
