Tony has barely been out there and barely looked healthy when he has been. Maybe this time off can actually work in his/the Pels favor and let him come back fully free of all his ailments, whatever they may have been. With the collapsing defense they could certainly use a much more prominent and physically capable version of the Grindfather.
