Which round should the draft start to be simmed?

Looking for league input on which round the draft should start to be simmed.

Rounds 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
Rounds 9, 10, 11, 12
Rounds 10, 11, 12

8 -> end

Will it just sim bpa. Or will it take into account what players and positions we already have. For example I don't want to grab 2 backup guards with 6th and 7th picks then end up getting 5 pgs simmed for my last 5 picks

I personally would rather draft all my players, but this is taking so so so too long.

will there be free agency allowed after the draft? so in case the sim gives me a guy i dont want i can just sack him for someone that hasnt been picked

This is going really slow now. It's fun but it would be much more fun if it was faster.

how about sim everyone that cant pick in 2 hours after round 5? I think it becomes a lot less intensive once teams are picked. I think a round a day should be our goal.

From my experience in simming picks that have been missed it takes into account positions. I haven't seen the program pick a player for a team that already had a player at that position.

Yeah I'm hoping I can wake up one morning and sim the rest of the draft and then open up free agency that night.

I would love it if we could get a round a day done. Then I would wanna make all my picks too but it is taking a really long time

I will say this, people are doing a much better job at sending lists and not holding the draft up.

I think I have five lists in my inbox from people.

Is this thread accurate on the number of active drafters we have? IE 13 or so?

No, pretty much the entire league is active in the draft. I've had to autoselect for people, but that is understandable. I'd like it if we could get people more active in the chat thread and all though.

We've really only had two inactive drafters.

Can i change my vote to now? We were going at a good pace...now just seems to be dragging on im ready to get season started

Yea i have changed my vote to 9-12! previously, 8-12. I want to set my 8 man rotation.

How about we do it to where if you don't have a list with an available player on it your pick is auto picked, would go just as fast and people won't get players they don't want.

I was thinking about going with 2 hours per pick.

But yeah, everyone send me a list if you haven't already.

I won't send a list but I'm on here all the time when it gets close to my pick.

I'm just going to go ahead and start the 8th round now, it's obvious that most will vote for the 9th round.

Two hour limit. I have work tomorrow from 1-6 so things may get slowed a little then, but we're going to give it a shot.
