AD is a beast he had 19 in my first game, and it all was in the flow of the game. Plus he had some monster blocks. I can't wait for the season to start.

Grrr. I spit on all your existences, daring to have fun before I.
I Must Buy ASAP
Just 3 hours until work is over, then straight to the GameStop on Canal!
Just purchased 2K13 during my lunch break. Can't wait until I get home!!!!!
Yeah it's great! Lakers gave me real trouble though ... But so far the NOHOs are doin work. The threes are much more consistent, and drives to the basket feel much more natural. Big A+ to 2K, and that's coming from a long time 2K hater
HEY GUYS !!! For all you PS3 gamers........ I will be starting up a 2k13 PS3 Online League in about a week. I will create a thread in the gaming section of the forums tonight or tomorrow and get everyones PSN names and discuss what the settings should be for the league. It will be a SIM style league. So if you constantly try to abuse the spin dunk (unstoppable) or you can't take a loss like a man and you quit then you shouldn't join or you will be kicked if multiple people report it in the thread. You will need to be active in the league and play one or two games a week to keep it moving along, NOT one game every 2 months. Anyway be on the lookout for the thread and we will discuss it there. I'll post a link in here when I put it up. Thanks.
Just got mines, bout to play now!
If you move Austin Rivers back to shooting guard with his secondary position being point guard his rating jumps up to a 71 overall which puts him on par with the rest of the shooting guards that came out of this draft. Bradley Beal is the highest ranked rookie shooting guard at 75. Rivers is instant offense off the bench. I thought about starting him at point guard but decided to let him come off the bench and he can light it up.
UGGHHH I hate the new controls. Juts lost to the nets. Why fix whats not broken. I fricken loved the shot stick. Now I probably wont play online because cheesers jus gunna press "X" with Kobe and theres nothing you can do about it.
Anyone care to post the Hornets player rankings? I've seen Gordon and Davis's but that's it
Ima try for first pick in my player. Play SF and we'll have a squad of me, austin rivers, eric gordon, and anthony davis
I heard Andersen was a dysmal 69. Would've thought he'd be in the mid-70s
How do u turn off autosave in assoc.
To shoot, you hold the LT or L2 and use the shot stick. Otherwise the stick is used for crossovers.
Man, I just usually hit X. LOL
Me too. Screw the shot stick!
Do they still have that "alternate A" control scheme where Circle becomes crossover button?
E.Gordon 85
A.Davis 79
A.Aminu 71
G.Vasquez 70
R.Anderson 69
R.Mason 67
X.Henry 67
A.Rivers 67
H.Warrick 65
R.Lopez 64
J.Smith 61
E.Gordon 85
A.Davis 79
A.Aminu 71
G.Vasquez 70
R.Anderson 69
R.Mason 67
X.Henry 67
A.Rivers 67
H.Warrick 65
R.Lopez 64
J.Smith 61
I find it mind blowing that Ryan Anderson is still rated so low. Vasquez is rated higher than he is at his respective position. Anderson was MIP last year... disrespected? I think so.
FREAKIN AMINU is rated higher!!! lol
You can change the button settings... I've NEVER used the stick to shoot I've always used the buttons since the early 90s on NBA Live... too late to change now lol.
No way Aminu should be anywhere near Anderson. Anderson should be rated really high.m
Overalls are overrated. Anderson being a 69 doesn't mean a thing. He can still knock down 3s with regularity.
You all know that you can just change the controls back to 2k12. Mine came in the mail today, daps to Amazon Prime lol.
I've been having a blast playing with the Hornets. Austin is unstoppable...
Two areas I think 2K screwed Anthony Davis in are his blocks rating listed at 83 (which makes Robin Lopez the best shot blocker on the team) and his vertical jump which is a 68.
I also find it extremely hard to get a shot off with Eric Gordon due to him not having a high release point on his jump shot. 95% of the time I have to hop step away from the defender to get his shot off.
Dropped like 24 points(high percentage) and 4 assists with Rivers. It feels as if he's a star or volume scorer lol. Playing against nuggets. 75-73
I play my career.. got drafted to hornets and we actually beat the spurs 102-100 and hornets looks so good.
I agree with both of your points. I see guys like Blake Griffin getting up to block more shots than AD because of their vertical rating. Usually in 2K, if you are not a 7 footer, you need a higher vertical to be a consistent shot blocker.
Gordon gets his shot blocked a lot when I play with him too.
Austin is very quick and finishes with authority.
I mainly play online...
I hadent gotten my shot blocked once with Gordon which is surprising, but Rivers is much more fun to play w. Davis is a moster, 3 blocks the first game.
I am trying to turn the pistons into contenders as a SG/PG
I'm going to restart MyCareer until the Hornets take me. I play as a PG, so my guy should fit fairly well.
What's up with no Darius Miller?
Yep, I got drafted by the blazers at 6 and they took lillard at 6 as well? lol
I think I'm gonna go SF instead of SG. As a scoring SG, you pretty much only get points. I want to be able to be a statsheet stuffer, not just a scorer.
I went defensive PF. My guy is annoyingly bad at scoring...
I made an athletic Center. He's so much faster than any other Center you can create. Going with the strategy of "growing into my body" by putting points into physical skills (verticle Speed Quickness etc), then i'll work on things like refining my skills.
"All around" players are pretty good but dont have the physical tools i wanted or what i think you need to be elite in the nba.
So, after starting on All star, getting hammered by the the spurs, almost beating the Jazz; I've changed my lineup to:
1. Vasquez
2. Gordon
3. Aminu
4. Davis
5. Smith
6th man - Rivers
What i've noticed is Anderson gets a ton of open 3s this way.
