Wasn't just a few here or there, literally half the arena was booing, even as the clock struck 0, instead of cheering.
Honestly, if you boo'd over some french fries (buy 1 get 1 free no less!) when you're team just flat outworked a team by 36 points, {Mod edit-veiled cursing}
Most embarrassed I've ever been to be at a game. And that includes the 58 pt home loss in the playoffs.

I admit. After the blowout, I was disappointed I didn't get my free fry. I didn't even expect them after the third to score even close enough to 100. The Main reason for the booing was because between 1 min - 2 min he had went 1/2 from the line. He got fouled with 43 seconds left. And missed the first free throw, which made the fans go crazy. I kinda wanted him to miss the second one, get the rebound and put it back up.
The arena booed again when Roberts got the ball with 5 seconds left because they wanted him to score. It would have put an icing on the cake for that W. -

I held off ranting last night because I thought maybe I was overreacting, but after sleeping on it I am still disgusted by what I heard last night. Ignorant NOLA fans showing their arises. Fries? people really? I'm sure no one that visits this site was booing, but that was totally classless and an embarrassment. This team comes off a long road trip to play one of its best games of the season for the home town crowd and get booed because fans didn't get free fries. Wonder why the national media doesn't take New Orleans basketball serious? Because yhey act like AAA Hockey league fans sometimes. :bah:
