Yeah I have known for a few days now :) Had insider info
Sigh.
Good news on the cheaper beer. But Pepsi?
At least its marginally better than RC.
Why cant we just have normal soft drinks? Is it really that hard to partner with Coke? Vast majority of people in the south drink Coke.

In addition to new products, the Hornets have also worked diligently with SMG and Centerplate to make several price reductions on concessions. One of the highlights includes dropping the price of 16-oz. draft beers from $8 to $6. On Friday nights, $5 16-oz. draft beers will be available to compliment the Hornets’ Friday Night 12-game Package, which is designed to give fans the opportunity to tip off the weekend with the excitement of an enhanced pre-game party with live music at Champions Square followed by a Hornets game.
Notable reductions also include a $.25 price cut on water, as well as reduced costs on hot dogs, and chicken wings. In addition to the reductions, prices have been frozen on several fan-favorite items, including nachos and chicken tenders.
Hope a lot of things have reduced price someday. Them nachos are too damn pricey. I mean, damn supply and demand. I wish I was the only person that loved nachos. Then they'd plummet and Eman would come out on top!

aaaah man we had COKE for pre season!?! Oh well... Pepsi still better then RC i guess... :idoh:
.... i was so happy when i walked in and saw Coke too. :)
I wonder if this is what made the 1 dollar beer go away for preseason?
I'm glad to have 6 dollar beer but not if it takes away 1 dollar beer. :D
I'll tell you guys a little tip we learned since Rouses opened down the street. You can get a loaded burrito there for 6.50 and not touch Arena prices. :coolg: Many other things as well.
Fowl Line better be staying!!!
I rarely purchase anything at the Arena.
Coke fan.
I'm fine with Pepsi and, yes, I rarely buy stadium food. I can live for ~three hours without consuming anything. At most I'll get a small drink.
Woooo! I love Pepsi. RC is dead! :)
You know 7Up is a Pepsi product, right...?

Don't they usually couple Pepsi with 7-Up
OH SNAP. Thank god!
Pepsi may distrubute 7Up or Dr. Pepper depending your location, but it's not a Pepsi product.
Not a Pepsi fan at all, but at least it is an improvement over RC. Hope they keep the jambalaya kiosk. Best concession food in the Arena IMO.
They did keep it. I had a bowl in the first preseason game.
Bowl was smaller (they said they serve the same amount), they don't cook it in front of you so you can't pick out what toppings you want, there was only one variety of meat, and it just didn't taste as good. Price was the same.
It does offer gator sausage as a side dish and one or two other new things, though.

Considering pepsin have great commercials, especially MJ old one, I love the deal.
Awwwww mannnnn, no more Cee-Lo commercials 15 times a game?? Bummer...

I for one love Pepsi... by itself. It just doesn't do well w/ my captain. For that, I'll take diet coke w/ lime.
I'm all about the cheaper beer.. I wish the bottles would go down in price as well... maybe that's next year. Pelican specials?
