this stinks. we could have had 2 solid players for half a season, now we are stuck with a busted player who may never play for us again because he will be traded.
Wow. How did he fail it exactly? Personally...How awkward is this?
I wonder what Shinn is thinking right now?
This is horrible news.
1. We don't get Wilcox and Smith (and their expiring contracts)
2. We get at 7'1 center with bad ankles who will not able to contribute no time soon. His ankle or some other body part must be real jacked up if he can't pass his physical
Welcome back TC. Can't wait for him to get healthy so we can make a playoff run.

Are you serious? Wilcox and Smith gave us the depth and size we needed to compete in the West. No we are back with the oft injured C . TC can't pass a physical that's not good for the long term.Quote:

This was my thought if HH was right about TC's injury being chronic. How could we trade a player if he's injured?Quote:

Bower can move Posey to the Cavs or even the Celts. It can be done.
Yeah that's the reason we traded him. Too fail a physical means that TC is not healthy enough to play NBA basketball.Quote:

well at least our backup bigs will get lots of tread.
Change your avatar like you said you would. I'd rather tade mo pete than PoseyQuote:

“It’s blown up,” one league executive said.
The Hornets and Thunder completed the Chandler trade on Tuesday for Joe Smith and Chris Wilcox, and the rights to 2008 draft pick DeVon Hardin, but lingering problems with a “turf toe” injury crushed the deal, league sources said."
yes you said this alreadyQuote:

Sorry if someone already answered this.I didn't bother reading through every single post but what are the implications of him failing his physical?
Is this serious or is it just because his ankle hasn't healed up yet?
The Oklahoma City Thunder doctors have red-flagged a turf toe condition with newly acquired center Tyson Chandler and the New Orleans Hornets trade has been voided, league executives said Wednesday night.
“The doctors told him that he can’t do surgery on the toe, and it could be with him for a couple years,” one league source familiar with injury said. “It’s not going to end his career, but it could hinder it.”
Wow. Maybe, HH did know something. Maybe, we were trying to get rid of a seriously injured Chandler before it came out. If that's the case, maybe, it was the right move to trade him. Wow!Quote:

I did not see this coming honestly. I was pretty sure that TC was OKC's newest center and his service to this team was null and void. I guess the situation took care of itself by default it seems.
Very awkward thing to deal with now.
You just don't quit, do you. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. What do you bring to the table here?Quote:

It appears that Harvey Hornet was 100% accurate in what he said and definitely had some inside information there and I was wrong to disagree with him knowing that he has top notch connections.
Personally, I still am happy that Tyson is back - he had a VERY busy offseason and he needs to shut it down and come back 100% next year. The Hornets should trade Posey with a 2010 first to get under the luxury and then sign a slasher and backup C in the offseason.
