IDK if I should take this as a joke or what. Answer this, how can you judge a ROOKIE still at the beginning of the year and his 1st year? Do you know how long it takes guards to reach there potential? The guy showed and still shows potential.

That's exactly my point. I want them in on everything, learning from the vets. The best way to learn, as a rookie, is to just shut up and listen. It's not about what the rookies bring to the conversation. It's about veterans teaching the rookies how to do things.
I think Monty is losing the team. Monty is supposed to be a defensive coach, yet the defense is brutal. Guards can't stay in front of their man, our bigs don't rebound, rotations are poor, effort is lagging throughout the game. The effort appears to look like a team tuning out their coach.
Well we all knew Vasquez sucked on D, Mason has kinda a rep for playing lazy defensively, Roberts I dont know nothing about but he's average defensively and IMO Rivers his playing like a defensive specialist when I watch the games I did watch. Showed mechanics while forcing his enemy to pass the ball. Vasquez will get traded, to who? IDK but for some reason I feel he will.
Not a good enough ball handler? Must be because he's one of our best ball handler that I find that a peculiar statement.
I think all Rivers needs is time. He's going to be fine once he has an offseason under his belt and sees how he stacks up. Needs to bulk up and continue to work at it. He'll be just fine.
Guys seriously get a grip... We all knew this was going to be at tough season. Okc needed 3 straight years worth of top 5 picks to finally make it as a 8 seed yet you guys want to reach the playoffs after 1??
This team, other than okc is in the best position in this league in terms of assets and flexibility. Calm down!
Guys overreact to much! You don't have faith in your team? If not you shouldn't be a fan of any team. And since im in a rush, no its not Monty or anyone fault!
Its not drivel. This team is 1-9 in the last 10 games. Injuries are part of the game. No excuse.
The effort defensively is terrible. Just terrible. Despite having the slowest pace in the league, the team has the worst defensive efficiency in the league. Fact is, they don't play hard consistently on that end of the floor especially when the offense is struggling. The bigs don't rebound well, the wing players don't rotate consistently, and this team is not even competitive on most nights.
Last season was much different. The team played hard, lost close games, were much better defensively and rebounding and this was despite having a ton of injuries to veterans. Guys stepped in and played hard. Its not happening this season. Its not just on Monty. The talent isn't that good either outside of the big 3 on this team. Alot of guys who should be clear backups are getting playing time, and they're stinking it up offensively and defensively.
There's evidence that this team doesn't play hard consistently especially when compared to last season.
While this is true, you can't expect a team to do well with out its 2 best players - especially a team as young and new as ours is. It takes time to develop chemistry, and that is another big part of the problem. Take Durant and Westbrook away from OKC, and they don't even win a single game.
I do agree, however, that I'd like to see some guys playing more minutes in order to accelerate their development (Rivers, Miller, and Lopez come to mind).
The media, fanbase, and most experts had them completely written off prior to this season. A lot of their success is due to their coach. Now if you want a perfect comparion, then you can use Minnesota. Missing both Rubio and Love and yet they were winning games.
That's a better comparison, but you are twisting the facts. Minny was doing well last season when Rubio and Love were healthy, but as soon as they were injured, everything went downhill. As a result, they completely missed the playoffs and ended up with a top-10 pick. That doesn't sound like a successful season to me.
