I disagree, I have to say.
Obviously nobody can guard a guy like KD for 48 minutes or 43 minutes or however long he's going to be on the court. Nobody could, in a one on one situation, defend KD for a whole game. But NBA games aren't one on one; when we say who's going to be the defender, we don't mean which individual has the sole task of defending that guy every possession, we mean who's goingto be the primary defender on the big possessions and for maybe 50% of the game.
In that situation, yes AD is more than capable of being the primary defender on KD. Not the only guy, not all game, not every single trip down the floor, but the primary defender, especially with traps and double teams? Definitely. AD has that in him.
