Gets almost two fifth of his offense from spot up opportunities with sizeable portions coming from post ups and offensive rebounds as well. Displays a smooth, but inconsistent jumper outside with range out past the three point line. Has improved his range since entering the League, but the consistency is still pretty far off. Decent catch and shoot guy. Pretty solid shooter off the dribble as well.

11-Austin Daye(cheap):An extremely versatile player, who at 6-10 has great height and length for the SF position … He is more than comfortable handling the ball in transition, as well as attacking off the dribble on the perimeter … Possesses a nice mix of skills with his back to the basket, including fadeways to both shoulders, mini hooks and up and unders … Has great patience when attacking, he reads the defender then either uses a well timed shot fake or a spin move to get himself in better scoring position … Out of the triple threat is where he is most effective; people have to play him tight because of his shot and this allows him to use his long strides and good jabs to get into the lane … Shooting the ball is where he is the most effective and dangerous; he has one of the nicer release in all of college basketball

Johnson signed with the Lakers, Carroll and Budinger are both under contract. ..The rest excluding Marion, IMO aren't really an upgrade to what we have. ..

Yeah I think we stand Pat...Salmons wont be bad guys...he more than likely wont be good either but should in that purpose serve as an upgrade over Aminu...

Half of those guys seem to be like Aminu, but a little better offensively IMO. LOL! We have our 15 players though, so we would have to cut a player to make it work.

It's not our year to add the starting small forward piece to the puzzle. We will have a stop gap package of Tyreke Evans and John Salmons to fill the hole till next offseason and I'm good with that. We are not going to find a small forward that is a better player than Eric Gordon this offseason, so we play Reke and him together to start games. We can get away with that lineup a lot more now that we have two of the best rim protecting big men behind them. I can't think of a better duo to protect a Reke, Gordon, and Jrue lineup.

This offseason we added our starting center and next year will we add that missing piece at small forward. Unless the Reke, Gordon, Jrue lineup works really well and Gordon doesn't opt out. So if Gordon doesn't opt out and we don't deal one of the top 6 guys, then we may be in this same spot with just adding another 1 year stop gap. The free agent crop at small forward is a whole lot better next offseason anyway. So hopefully Gordon has his best year as a professional cause we will win either way. We either will have a lineup that works with Reke starting at the 3 or Gordon opts out and we add that next piece to the puzzle. OR he is seen as an attractable asset again and we trade him and his expiring deal.
