Ray Ray? Dear God no lol
Pelican Pete would only make people think of the Jazz even more.
I guess Earl might work, but why name it after something that basically murdered it?
I don't know what to really name him myself, but maby Louis after King Louis XIV of France which Louisiana was named after?
either Pelican Pete or Pete the Pelican for sure
Rusty the Pelican
Pete.
We can stick to our French background and call him Pierre. :p
Duncan/Dunkin' the Pelican
Hugo the Pelican? Lol
Hugo.
Pelican Pete #7
Hugeaux the Pelican would be my top choice, but it probably won't happen.
I might be in the minority here, but I'd actually like it if we kept Hugo the Hornet . . . kind of as a link to the past. Even if Charlotte changes their name to the "Hornets."
Seymour D Fair
sorry... had to say it. I'll go away now
My vote goes too ....JuJu The Pelican
Seymour D Fair would be great, but I know some guy owns it and would want some change for the name, Pierre would be legit though, and Pete is fine, I have no suggestions for names though lol, actually, yeah I do, my middle name is Patrick so let's go with that. Patrick the Pelican, sure it's lame, but hey my name is on it
I'll borrow a name from the Gator Boys and call him Boudreaux
I second Seymour
I can go with the flow for a name for the mascot, but is anyone here familiar with the Zooperstars? If we decide to go in the direction of humor and something for the youngsters (which I pray we will) take a look at what was created here by a group of college kids....I would relish a huge Pelican who could easily engulf a ballboy whole....or maybe even a referee as necessary....
I hope that they get a couple big *** pelicans to fly around the arena and scoop up little children and such
