Today features a series of comparisons of one type or another.

First, we have a good timeline of the events surrounding the 1998 lockout. There are relevant similarities to the current lockout, allowing some extrapolation, at least in terms of key dates, including the point of no return.

Second, we have a Spanish piece (in English translation, and that can be changed) that looks at the foreign markets for NBA players.
