Ooooh defo gna be downloading that podcast later ;D thanks for the heads up (Y)
I was able to watch that whole interview. He says all the right things, and briefly touched on how he is going to be playing mainly point and a little bit of sg. I was more surprised at how much Stephen A and Skip likes Rivers. Kind of scares me a bit lol. Great interview though.
the reason i think he'll succeed is his motivation. it's one thing to hear it from him, but when Monty even says he's working out 3 times a day trying to get better that goes a long way. He doesn't look content with just making the league, he wants to be one of the best
Great interview. Very upfront with every question he faced.
Also... loved that little "rebuilding" image they had near the text. New sig!
He'll be fine and play hard for us. If he can put up numbers around 12 pts 4asts 38% from 3, 80% FT, it will be solid.
He's not gonna have to do a whole lot with Davis, Gordon and Anderson around.
1) Don't turn the ball over. Make the simple plays.
2) Make open jumpers and FTs
3) Be a solid defender
A bonus will be creating offense when the shot clock is running down.
In Stephen A 2nd question he almost says Coach Gay haha
when Rivers, Gordon, Aminu & Davis are on the floor, i assume we'll play that fast pace offense that Rivers prefers
I think he has a good chance at be ROY. Great interview
I love his damn confidence, he is ready to succeed!
Yea, will we be a transition team? We should hire a Nuggets assistant coach haha
We won't be a transition team that much. Rivers will be ok the half court.
