Any update on a Pel's G League Team?

Last info I could find was we were starting with the 18/19 upcoming season, no team name, and location either Shreveport LA, or Pensacola FL. Anyone have any further data?

Jake Madison recently mentioned on one of his podcasts that he’s hearing some chatter about the new team possibly being based in Birmingham.

I agree, don't know how teams are formed, but would assume that teams that are in place may get a better shot at signing prospects that may develop.
