Writer wrongly rips the Hornets in a badmitton article!

Mike Rosenberg from SI had this to say about the Badmitton "scandal"--

That one is just patently false, too. If you're going to burn us, at least base them in reality.

People just look at ou record and then say stupid things like that without watching us play. Pretty pathetic..

Probably a Laker fan who still think that we would have been better with the Scola trade.

Weak and unnecessary joke.. so unclear that it doesn't work.

His joke is that Stern took the Clippers trade so that we'd suck this year.. when in reality we would've been okay had Gordon stayed healthy.

It's just a cheap shot and really poor joke that's not even needed in this article. I expect more from SI.

Haha people are to sensative. This joke was weak but I heard worse about team and could less what others say about us! We shall stick together!!!!

We just all need to relax and let our team take care of business this coming season.

Saying he got New Orleans confused with Charlotte would have been more believable. Just tell him it's ok to admit that he doesn't follow the NBA or Hornets well enough to have made that joke. And inform him that Monty got a 2nd place coach of the year vote based on how hard he got such a bad team to play every night.

But in an historic season for tanking, how can you pick the Hornets as the worst offenders, over teams like the Bobcats and Warriors?

Its very simple. Lots of teams tanked and Hornets won the lottery. Therefore, it was a very good chance to assume the Hornets tanked. This was about all the thought the writer put into it.
