Recent Forum Posts3 reasons.
1. He has yet to show that he can play the SF position. Yes, he's shown some tools but he's no more a SF than Milsap is. And
He doesn't have the lateral quickness to defend most small forwards.

I read the opposite about his attitude, that he's supposed to be an extremely hard worker. He's interesting as a prospect ... would give us two guard-converts

He'a got the right skills offensively to play the 3, but lacks the quickness to guard the 3 defensively.

He's the right height but he's too bulky to be a SF, likely. He'd have trouble defending quicker perimeter players.

1. Noel - They want Porter but they can't trade down and stay in the top 5 to grab him because no one wants to pay for the top pick.
2. Burke
That wasn't a reach. Waiters was a fast riser before the draft. He looks like a great pick given how he played late in the season.

Who to pick if the consensus 5 are taken?
They are true, but i think he might have more trouble guarding effectively at the 4 than at the 3 in the NBa obviously not in college.
